Guidelines for Food and Liquor Sampling

 

FOOD SAMPLING GUIDELINES

Capital Traiteur is the exclusive supplier of food service at the Palais des Congrés de Montréal. It is strictly forbidden to bring food, drinks, sweets, bottled water or any articles of similar nature to the premises without prior authorization. It is strictly forbidden to sell products that compete or limit the sales of Capital Traiteur.

Products offered and distributed free of charge as samples must be part of the nature of the trade. The manufacturer should distribute in sample format only, 60 ml (2 ounces) for liquids and 28 grams (1ounce) for solids.

In order to obtain the authorization to distribute food or non-alcoholic beverages samples, Capital Traiteur requires that each exhibitor fills and submits the Sampling Request Form for insurance/liability purposes and sends it back soonest to info@capitaltraiteur.com  

 

LIQUOR SAMPLING GUIDELINES

The RACJ (Régie des Alcohols, des Courses et des Jeux) is responsible for the supervision, monitoring and control of the activities such as the service and sale of alcoholic beverages to the public, in authorized establishments and the manufacture, distribution and storage of alcoholic beverages by licenses. Capital Traiteur is operating under a permanent liquor permit at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal, which forbids anyone else from serving or promoting alcoholic products in the same room, at the same time. In order to allow our honey liquor producers to showcase their products during the event, Capital Traiteur will issue permit derogation letters for September 7-12, 2019 so that they will no longer be able to serve alcoholic beverages in the ApiExpo.

Beers manufactures would must compulsorily apply for the permit. Please contact the Organising Secretariat. Sale of alcoholic beverages is strictly forbidden. Delivery of alcoholic goods on premises will not be permitted prior to September 7th, 2019.
