World Beekeeping Awards is the global contest of all things related to beekeeping. It is held every 2 years within the auspices of Apimondia International Apicultural Congress.
There are several contest classes, that include different types of honey, beeswax, meads and other honey beverage, cosmetics and medicines. Also there are contest for best innovations and inventions in apiculture, for books, magazines, artistic exhibits, and displays.
The most prestigious award is Carl and Virginia Webb Honey Bowl, the winner of which receives an official title “Best Honey in the World”.

Terms and Conditions:
Applicants are required to register and pay for 2019 Apimondia in advance or at the same time as entering for the WBA classes.
All entry fees have to be paid by online credit card in Canadian Dollars and are non-refundable no matter the circumstances.
All honey classes that require to be sent for laboratory analysis must be submitted by July 20, 2019 to Melissa Girard (read the guidelines for further details). Exhibits arriving after the deadline will not be sent to the laboratory for analysis.
We kindly remind you that the Local Organising Committee is not responsible for the payment of the custom fees of your exhibits arriving in Canada so you are invited to pay the custom fees in advance.
The application deadline for all other classes is August 31, 2019. We kindly invite you to apply online before the deadline, pay the fee and send to email@example.com a copy of the participation form duly filled in to be included in the list of participants of the contest.
We kindly remind you that the Organising Secretariat is not allowed to accept incomplete WBA application.
